Just before Christmas, a last-minute jump-in to sing Bach’s Christmas Oratorio with the BachWerkVokal ensemble conducted by Gordon Safari! A wonderful, unexpected project in the far west of Austria, surrounded by great musicians!

The premiere was framed by two songs by Alexander von Zemlinsky: first ‘ Und kehrt er einst heim ’, in which the highly dramatic Julie Eggli formed a wondrous symbiosis with the instruments, after that ‘ Die Mädchen mit den verbundenen Augen ’

In 2023, I sang the alto solo in “Das Lied von der Erde” by Mahler several times with the ensemble aisthesis under the direction of Walter Nussbaum. I am so grateful for this experience, which completely overwhelmed me and which I remember with very special feelings.
